    About Woodlyn Shores

        Woodlyn Shores is located one mile West of Route 6 on Route 590, just past Walt's Landing at the very end of Paupack Point Rd. We are the most Northerly community on Lake Wallenpaupack and border the PP&L Boat Access Area to the East and Paupack Point to the West. Our community has 74 properties and 30 lakefront homes.

        The lakefronts are on Lake Drive and have Southeasterly exposures. All the properties have 50’ level frontage on the lake and overlook the PPL dam, the Wallenpaupack School District beach area and Wilsonville overlook. The community is convenient for shopping, restaurants, and schools.

        Woodlyn Shores is in Paupack Township, Wayne County and is in the Wallenpaupack Area School District.

    Our Heritage

    The land which Woodlyn Shores now sits was purchased in 1926 by Mr. Rutherford from the Pennsylvania Realty Trust Co. it was his vision to build a number of cabins on the land for the evergrowing influx of weekend vacationers. At first the cabins were rented, then eventually lots were drawn and sold for full and part-time residences.

     We have a board consisting of seven directors. Three members serve a one year term, Two members serving a two year term and two members serving a three year term.

    With three officers serving at the will of the board.

    Our Facilities

     

    Woodlyn Shores has no facilities or community buildings, which keeps HOA Fees down. However the community does have a common dock area, with 28 boat slips and a small floating swim dock. 

    Our Community

     

    Our community has a central water system privately owned and managed. In addition each lot holds its own septic or leach field for waste. The community also has 1.1 miles of paved roads and weekly trash pickup.
